Day 1 - Aug 14
Meet & Greet On the evening of August 14th hosted at Protea Masa Rooftop, the Housekeepers Convention kicked off in style with a cocktail meet and greet. It brought together our beloved housekeepers, esteemed partners, and valued sponsors to network and get a sneak peek into the exciting lineup of events planned for the next two days. A perfect mix of socializing and anticipation set the tone for an unforgettable convention experience.
Day 2 - Aug 15
Training & Zumba This day was dedicated to an intense day of training sessions at Oasis Motel, equipping our hardworking housekeepers with valuable knowledge and skills followed by an energizing aerobics session led by Fitness Instructor, Carlos dambe, at the 3 Dikgosi Monument giving housekeepers a delightful reprieve, blending fitness, tourism, and enjoyment.
Day 3 - Aug 16
League Of Champions & Gala Dinner On the final day of the 7th Annual Housekeepers Convention, August 16th, the excitement reached its peak with the presentation by Kruger Agencies and the long anticipated League of Champions competition.

After a jam-packed day of training, the 7th Annual Housekeepers Convention brought a well-deserved sun downer for our hard-working attendees. The highlight of this downtime was a fun-filled aerobics session at the iconic 3 Dikgosi Monument located in the central business district of Gaborone. Amidst all the excitement, we ensured that the tourism aspect of the event was not forgotten to ensure long lasting memories are made by combining fitness, fun, and a visit to a national landmark.
Here, teams representing a range of properties from across Botswana demonstrated exceptional skills in towel art, bed making, and bed art. This intense competition not only provided a platform for showcasing expertise but also presented an opportunity for knowledge exchange among team mates.
After a thrilling League of Champions competition, the 7th Annual Housekeepers Convention reached its grand finale with a glamorous Sophiatown-themed Gala Dinner at Phakalane Golf Estate Conference Centre. This sophisticated event brought together industry experts, dignitaries, and our beloved housekeepers to celebrate the achievements of the past three days. The gala was not only an occasion to indulge in fine food and entertainment, but also a platform for our esteemed guests to recognize and honor the housekeepers for their commitment and dedication to the hospitality industry.
